SAMRA ORIGINS

Blue Bottle leaned on Samra and Abel’s insight and deep-seated knowledge of their homeland to help them craft this coffee. Through many refinements and tastings, they agreed this iteration is a taste of home.

For this blend, Blue Bottle chose two Ethiopian coffees from METAD. The first is a washed process coffee with a light body and complex flavor. The second is a natural process coffee that’s intensely fruited and balanced.

Blue Bottle two components come together to create a balanced, bright cup. Jammy fruit characteristics are complemented by a rich caramelized sweetness and subtle florality for an approachable and nuanced profile.
